Craig Friesland is the Director of Coaching for the Bantam Division (1st grade - 4th grade) and the Head Coach for the Lovejoy Leopards Bantam Division – 3rd/4th grade teams. Craig joined the Lovejoy Leopards Lacrosse coaching staff in the Spring of 2013. Craig is a U.S. Lacrosse Level 1 Certified Coach.
Craig is originally from Amarillo, Texas. In high school, Craig was a three sport athlete in football, basketball, and golf. After high school, Craig attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he received his B.B.A. in Finance. He then attended law school at the Baylor University School of Law, earning his J.D.
Craig and his family live in Lucas. His sons have been a part of the Lovejoy Leopards Lacrosse program for two years. His son, Major, plays on the Junior Division – 7th/8th grade team; his son, Colt, plays on the Bantam Division – 3rd/4th grade team; and his son Paxton, plays, on the Bantam Division – 1st/2nd grade team. In addition to coaching the lacrosse team, Craig has been a Head or Assistant Coach for boys’ and girls’ basketball teams and boys’ football and baseball teams in ASA and PSA for several years.
